Default Multiple Internet Domains running on Domino Server

Please Login to Remove!

I hope someone can answer this question for me.

We have a BB Server v connected to a Lotus Domino 6.5.3 Server.

We have 9 BB users running with our main Internet Domain (A) with no issue.

Our 10th user wishes to use an alternate Internet Domain (B) which is listed in his Internet address on his person document. The Internet address works correctly when sending from a Lotus Notes client.

When sending from his Blackberry, it still sends with Internet Domain (A).

In the Blackberry manager, his email address is listed as Internet Domain (B), yet it sends as (A).

I have reinstalled his BB with the new Domain (B).

Is there a step I have missed, or is it that BB Server will not support muliple Internet Domains linked to one Notes domain.

Many thanks.

(1) When sending from Lotus Notes, the client's mailer lookup the current Location document for the "home server" to post the sent message. The Domino Router that will do the delivering is the one located on this "home server".

(2) When sending from BlackBerry device for the user local to the BES, the sent message is posted to the BES' The Domino Router that will do the delivering is the one located on the BES.

Find out the DIFFERENCE(S) between the 2 Domino Routers and you shall be able to resolve your issue. This is more of a Domino mail routing issue rather than a BES one.
