BB shows different number of unread mail on phone then on mailbox

We use BES at work. One of my users BB doesnt sync back properly. she has a different number of unread mail on her phone then on the mailbox. also when she deleted mail in her mailbox it doesnt delete on her BB. I checked wireless reconcile and it is on, on both. She doesnt want me do reset her phone and re - activate. Any other ideas i can try????
Did try a Battery pull and no luck. We have about 60 users on the BES server. I am just a bit concerned as this is happening to a handfull of users atm (they dont mind the reset but still) everything works fine and then all of a sudden the sync goes whacko. they still get new mail,calender contacts etc. but as soon as they delete stuff on either side it doesnt sync back thus leaving you with different unread mail counts. Any ideas what can create this or maybe fix it??
I get this lots and its nothing to worry about usually. (I'm using Exchange 2003 and BES 4.1.5)
There are a number of things that happen that cause it, the usual one is when the user moves an unread email from the inbox to a folder that isnt monitored by BES. The mail system obviously changes the unread count but BES doesnt get any instructions.
The other instance is if you do a hard delete in Outlook (holding shift down when deleting an email) - I believe that BES 4.0 and BES 4.1 cant handle this (though I understand its fixed in 5.0)
