We have just upgraded to bes 5.0. I have two machines that connect to a remote sql server. Just loading the login page for the blackberry administration can take up to 25 min (on both machines). Let alone doing anything after you managed to log in. Has anybody else experienced this slow response? I admit for both machines the sql databse is on a different continent but are WAN speed is pretty good. (45Meg link on one)

Any feedback is appreciated.

I've never seen something like this, but then I've never had BES configured like this.

Database access cross continent never yields good results.

after upgrading the last bes server (the one which also has the databse) we see that we have the same issue with the slow loading on this server as well. It does not seem to be related to the databse location.

But does it open after 25 minutes? If so, I am suprised it does not time out?? Try disabling common suspects, antivirus, firewall etc..
