Default Not Receiving activation email

Please Login to Remove!

Exchange 2007 BES 5. I am not receiving activation email to my inbox on exchange 2007. I have verified that it is sending the activation email because I did enterprise activation from my handheld to a yahoo account and that inbox received it fine.

I whitelisted blackberry.net in exchange according to examples i found on the web.

Do I need to open any ports on firewall.

I have given besadmin rights to "send as" on the domain account that I am trying to setup.

What am i missing.

thanks,
Stan

Do not open up any firewall ports; nothing inbound is needed for BES.

Read this for troubleshooting EA: KB13852 - Identifying and troubleshooting enterprise activation issues - Port3101.org : Your BES Connection.

The message delivery is simple SMTP. Do you have any other filtering in place? The message is coming with an attachment etp.dat ... perhaps you're blocking that attachment and all messages with it?

I had the same problem with my test environment. Mail was getting out when sent from the mail account but all incoming was getting blocked. I can find out from the guys who manage the mail servers to find out what they did to fix it if you think you may have the same issue?
