I'm using a personally owned 8330 (verizon) on a BES through my employer. Is it possible for my employer to be able to read my non-work email (e.g. vzw.blackberry.net, yahoo.com etc.)?

I share some personal things with others on my own time that isn't any business of my employer. Thanks in advance.

The advice I always give is assume the worst and you can't be wrong. I never advise putting personal data/info on a BB connected to BES.

And there is also the issue at the end of the day of removing BES related info usually requiring a wipe of the device.

I presume all or okay with personal data on a 3rd party BES hosted service?

I just forward my work email to a gmail account so I can see anything urgent while on the road. My job does not require urgent email and I have resisted putting my personal BB on the corp BES because of privacy and knowing what they can log.

That is something we have explicitly banned in our AUP for email, the forwarding of mail to personal accounts.
