Default Shared Contacts

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all
This is my first time so let me know if im heading in the wrong direction.
I have just implemented SBS08 and Blackberry Professional server into our company.
I am trying to either Synchronise personal and shared contacts automatically, or set up the users default contacts to point to a shared contact list.
The reason i am trying to do this is because i have 6 blackberry users that i want to have an up to date contact list at all times.
Just so we are on the same channel, i am talking about external contacts not the internal GAL.
There is about 3000 contacts so it would be good if i can do an import of a pst.
All help is much appreciated
Thanks

No good/easy way to share 3000 contact to your user base. That is a ton of contacts even if you could have them on each BB. Don't believe there is a limit but that is a LOT. BES 5.0 Enterprise allows users to sync to multiple contact folders. So if you wanted to upgrade, you could distribute an up-to-date pst with just that contact list with instructions for your users to import the contact list into a secondary contact list on their exchange account and then it would sync wirelessly. Otherwise, you could just do that with your current version and give them the option to import those into their default contact folder. Maybe you could categorize them all so your users view them by enabling the filter mode in contacts... Kind of messy but could work.

Do you know if BES 5 is compatible with the Bold handsets.
My Telstra Rep promised me BES 5 and now he is say the Bolds are not compatible with BES 5.
