I tried searching but can't find my particular problem. I have two users who cannot get their Contacts to sync. The server is fine. I sit here and edit my Contacts and they update instantly, both ways. No one else has any issues.

I upgraded one of the two users to a brand new model yesterday and still have the same problem. I've been looking at permissions on their Contacts in Outlook since these two are executives (naturally) who share their Contacts with assistants and that's the only difference I can find between them and everyone else. I've added Besadmin and opened the default rights and still no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry forgot to add that wireless sync is enable for the address book on their devices

That said ... the contacts are in the mailbox of the user that has the BlackBerry; correct?

I have a user that has the same problem - sort of. His falls out of sync after awhile. Re-activation seems to cure it for awhile.

Thanks for the link. One guy's device just fixed itself, the other I'm still looking at.

The other user finally came back to the office, so I connected that device to a workstation to try clearing the address book database. When I did I found two Address Books: one Address Book and one Address Book - All. Both had the same amt of entries. Can someone tell me the difference?

Just in case anyone else has this issue, I spoke with RIM and I have an older version of BES server (4.0.6.12) that isn't supposed to work at all if Contacts are shared. It's not supposed to work at all, but I was able to get intermittent success somehow. The good news is that I should have no problem getting them to finally cough up the dough to upgrade.
