Question QQ - IT Policy : Disable WLAN Access to BES

Please Login to Remove!

This one is for the Wi-Fi/WLAN/BES gurus.

If I do not want my BES traffic to pass through any Wi-Fi or WLAN connections that the BlackBerry device can connect to, do I use the IT Policy "Disable WLAN Access to BES" set as True?

I asked as if I have created this IT Policy for a test device (activated alreadu with a BES) and when I only connect the device to Wi-Fi only (with the Mobile Network disabled), I am still able to send/receive email messages and perform lookup on contacts. Could someone advise if I have used a wrong IT policy?

Native but 4th class citizen of a nation governed by idiots who import congestions & contention.

I scratched my head on this for a few minutes ... unfortunately I'd call T-Support on this one for confirmation.
