I am having a problem with routing mail to a foreign organization. Here is the situation.
We are providing Hosted Blackberry BES for Domino services to a client. BES is generally working fine.
The Bes server W2/MyOrg is cross certified with their Org(TheirOrg), and the device users are listed in our primary NAB, BES mail routes fine from MyOrg to Listed User/TheirOrg no problem.
The problem arises when a device user recieves mail from another member of /TheirOrg on the blackberry and replies to that message. The format of the Senders address on the Blackberry is Username/TheirOrg. The reply goes to Username/TheirOrg. BES W2/MyOrg picks up the message gives it to the router and now the router is attempting to route to Username/TheirOrg, an unlisted user and generates a delivery failure.
08/25/2009 08:37:05 PM Router: Unable to deliver message 000364DE, 000364DE to Username/TheirOrg
08/25/2009 08:37:05 PM User Username/TheirOrg not listed in Domino Directory
This the solution I want to put in place. I want my server to identify */TheirOrg as being part of Domain @ThierDomain and route the mail accordingly to their servers via Notes. I realize if the message were coming in as Username/TheirOrg@TheirDomain this would be easy but unfortunately that is not the case. How can I get the Router to identify and router to TheirDomain any mail for Unlisted User/TheirOrg
Assistance Please - All discussion welcome
Dan
