Default BPS Migration?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

We are in a pit of a sticky situation.

We are currently in the middle of an IT Infrastructure project, where are migrating to a new domain. We have migrated the new exchange server to the new domain and are in the process of migrating the mailbox users over. We have created a new BPS server and have a test user successfully migrated. The issue is with the trial software offered. The download only allows us for one user and we are unable to migrate others using this.

Due to limited downtimes, we have to migrate the mailboxes in one go, but need to migrate them in small batches. Therefore, we are forced to operate the new and old blackberry server for a certain period in time in parallel.

I know there is a migration kit avalible but this seems to be of BES not BPS (correct me if im wrong). I know we cant run the same license keys as this breaks the licensing agreement.

Does anyone know of a soultion?

You can open the database, open the LicenseKeys table, export the CALs and copy them to the new server.

Then you have to activate them on the new server.
