| BES account sending carrier emails Please Login to Remove! Hi Guys,
We've got a client that we've installed BES for and although we have done hundreds of these we cannot get this one phone to work. It is the only Blackberry they have so we can't test it with another.
We have made sure BES is installed with all the correct permissions and settings, have made sure the test work along with firewall settings.
The phone was originally supplied in BIS mode which they say has now been changed to BES mode but when we try to wireless activate it the users inbox gets the carrier activation email (not the one with the password but the one that says 'do not delete' etc) and then nothing happens but then the handset does this again after a period of time. It looks like the activation is getting as far as the server but nothing back to the handset. We've tried it through desktop manager (which has been installed in BES mode) and wiped the phone but it still won't register on the server.
Can anyone confirm these 2 points :
1. Will you still get the email even when in BES mode or is this only for BIS handsets.
2. Are there any caveats that we need to look into with regards to Exchange 2007 (as this system is the first we've had with 2007 on)
Any help would be great.
