BES allows importing IT Policy Definition in XML format. I'd like to define my own custom IT policy for import. But I have trouble finding the document about the format/schema of the file.
Can anyone point me to the document?

It does? Where'd you read that? Does it also allow an XML export?

Yes, you can import a policy definition template. This template includes all user defined policy items.
Server --> Global tab --> Service Control and Customization --> Import IT Policy Definitions

When this is clicked, you'll be prompted for an XML file.

I'd like to define my own custom policy items, but not sure what the schema for XML is...

Download the zip file and have a look at the XML code. Maybe you can find out how to structure you custum policies from there. Use at your own risk and test on a test system first.
