Default Exchange Relocation

Please Login to Remove!

Current Setup
Exchange 03
BES 4.1.6

I just took over the managment of our BES server, not to long ago, and i currently have my first obsticale to tackle that i could use some input on.

Our Exchange administrator is relocating the companies microsoft exchange server. The server wil have a different IP address.

My question is where do i go to find the exchange configuration info to see if anything needs to be changed. From what i was able to find on the web exchange and BES do not use the IP addres to communicate.

any input will help thanks.

It relies on DNS name resolution and of course proper routing to the server. If the server hasn't changed names, and you can ping it by name once it has moved, you're good.
