Default Location GPS Report

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know how on BES 5.0, you can run a report or any other method to pull-up locations of user's devices via the GPS device? I have enabled GPS location tracking in the policy for these users but cannot seem to find anything that will let me use that function.

check out this:
Location Based Services (LBS) otherwise known as GPS Policies

However, from my experience, the Enterprise location tracking still does not work reliable, which seems to be a problem of the BB device software. Instead of the server asking the device at regular intervals for its (last known) location, it is the job of the devices to submit their location, which they only do random.

The only thing you AFAIK get is shorter batterylifetime if you enable this function.

Is there a program that can do the monitoring and tracking (third party)?

I do not know of something simple and cheap.
All programs i know come as an application.
Nothing like a simple Daemon with no user-interface which works in the background.

The thing wich comes nearest to my favourite is an old version of mologogo - but it does not work reliable on the current OS.
