Default Sync issues now with BES

Please Login to Remove!

I just added BES to my 8250i but still use BIS for other email accounts. I use Outlook with a pst and do not store anything on Exchange.

Now when I go to sync using the Blacktop Desktop, it wants to add another 1270 items to my contacts which I am afraid will be nothing but duplicates. It also wants to do the same thing to my calendar.

How can I avoid this or at least fix it?

Are your contacts synching wirelessly from the BES already?
If so, do you want/need to synch them via DM?

No I have wireless sync turned off since I use a pst for Outlook. I synced Outlook and the Blackberry via DM before I set up the BES. I just don't to have 1,200 duplicate entries in the Blackberry.

I want to always use DM for sync since I don;t want any data on Exchange for security issues.

under synchrozie - configure - somewhere (sorry can't remember) there is a place where you can choose the PST file you want synch with. just get rid of that, and then it should just synch mail with BIS.
