Default Attachment size limitation - 09-25-2009, 03:42 AM

Good morning all,

Can anyone tell me if there is a limitation on users' attachment sizes when they are receiving emails and sending emails?

If the above is on the users' accounts, can you please explain how? and how we can do this?

Look forward to hearing from you all

IN BES 4.1, you can set attachment size limits on the Attachment Service.

Run BlackBerry Server Configuration on the server running the Attachment Service, go to the Attachment Server tab and under Configuration Options, select Attachment Server.

Within here you can set Max File Sizes for each attachment type.

For sending limits, you can do this through the BES Management Console on the Server Configuration for the individual BES.

Edit the Properties and select Messaging. Within here you can set the Max Upload Attachment Size options.

Do you mean for individual users or individual file types?
