Default Unable to add IT Policy - 12-02-2005, 09:07 AM

I have added and edited policies before, but now when I go to do it I get an error, as follows.

"Blackberry Manager
Unable to add the IT policy to the database. Please ensure that the database is available and SQLServer is running. Press OK to recconect to the database server."

Now, this is from my laptop with the remote tools installed. This worked before from the same machine. We recently did move our SQL database to a different server, but the ODBC connection is correct. Has anyone else had this problem? I just wanted to check here real quick before calling t-support.

I was also thinking of just reinstalling the remote tools alltogether, because we switched to NT authentication and the handheld configuration tool still prompts for the SA password repeatedly.

All issues resolved. IT policy issue was a database permission, and a reinstall of the admin tools resolved the handheld tool issue. Since we switched authentication methods, the reinstall was needed. Just updating the thread incase anyone searches this issue in the future.
