Default Newbie Tech question BES - 10-27-2009, 04:57 PM

I am new to BB and have been searching for 2 days straight. Someone please help.
I am connecting to my companies BES and still want to sync with my personal Outlook. Is there a way to use the BES for email only and sync contacts, calendar, memos and tasks with my desktop manager?
I have been turning wireless sync on and off all day. It seems like I am going in circles at this point. Can anyone help with this issue or find a link explaining this?

You answered your own question.
You need to turn Wireless Sync off for each of your PIM functions (contacts, calendar, memos and tasks).
If you're only syncing with your Personal Outlook... then just don't ever turn wireless sync back on.

If you don't have the option, then your BES isn't set up for wireless sync to begin with. You should be fine to sync via desktop.
