Default Blackberry Enterprise Server Question - Newbie - 11-06-2009, 01:15 PM

I am a total newbie to the Black Berry but here is what I would like to do and what I understand. I do not own a blackberry, but will purchase one

I want to use email, calendar and tasks through a blackberry. I don't want to just forward my emails. I want the changes on my blackberry to synch with my computer. I prefer not to have a camera on the phone but I'm not sure BB sells phones w/o cameras.

How do I get started? I looked on the Blackberry website and they were throwing out large dollar numbers for BES. I think I am understanding this incorrectly.

1. I use IMB Lotus Notes 8.5
2. I use verizon
3. Our server is hosted through Empowering Systems which is our sales contact management system. Our email, calendar and tasks is Lotus notes but Empowering systems adds other features to lotus notes. They are also our server.
