Default BES 4.1.6 - confirm support for Exchange 2007 SP2? - 11-06-2009, 03:29 PM

I'm looking at the Nov 4, 2009 Compatibility BES for Exchange Matrix and it makes no reference for Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP2. Can someone confirm that it is compatible?

I'm running 4.1.6 of BES for Microsoft Exchange.

64 bit is listed for 2007 SP2 on page 5.

Yes, it is listed on page 5 under the heading "BES for Exchange 64-bit" but not under "BES for Exchange 32-bit" on page 4. Just and oversight? I would like to hear from a BES admin who is running SP2 for Exch 2007.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Exchange 2007 ONLY 64-bit?

there is a 32 bit version, however it is not supported (by MS) in production environments (testing/demo environments/etc only)

Then why would RIM support it.

We're running both 2003 and 2007 using BES 4.1.6. No issues so far.

I'm not the Exchange admin, though, so have no idea if 2007 is SP2.
