|  Moving users to new BES 5.0 Server
Please Login to Remove! My current BES is running 4.0SP7 and serving about 25 users. I want to upgrade to BES 5.0 but I don't want to do an in-place upgrade on the existing BES which is running on Windows 2003 Server Standard. I'd like to build a Server 2008 machine running BES 5.0.
My question is, is it possible to move my users from the existing server to the new one once I build and configure it? Would any implications or issues arise from moving between BES databases? Are there any Exchange issues I may encounter when deploying a new BES and moving users? Is it best to remove them from the existing server then adding them to the new one and reactivating (would REALLY like to avoid this), or would the existing 4.0 server let me do a move to the new BES? |
