Check it out - They must have just released the docs for Lotus Domino.

http://docs.blackberry.com/en/admin/...M+Lotus+Domino

Anyone have information on when 5.0.1 for Exchange will be out?

Compatibilty matrix is still dated 4 November 2009. No mention of v5.0.1, yet. I sure hope SQL 2008 will be supported.

Support for SQL 2008 is included:

h t t p : / / docs.blackberry.com/en/admin/deliverables/12056/New_in_this_release_501_787536_11.jsp

EWS is support but the documentation is horrible.

WOW...So I am in the process of creating a new BES 5 domain and using SP1. I assume that this will only affect users that are on the machine before you do the upgrade? Meaning if I do the upgrade and then transport the users they should be fine right?

No clue. Personally, I'd hold off on SP1 until RIM releases an official fix for the disappearing contacts.

So if I wanted to downgrade from SP1, would that be as simple as uninstalling the BES and reinstalling it?

Couldn't say. If you already have devices activated on an SP1 BES, you might run into Service Book issues as a result of a downgrade.

Call RIM and ask, and then report back to us here.

I only have 1 test user so I don't care if I start from stratch. Yeah I can see the service book issue but I would think that it would resend the service books when I "upgrade" to MR2.

No- Mailbox was fine. Running the RSET command from handheld did not resynch contacts. I reverted back to my pre-SP1 state and will wait until RIM addresses this.

I read on Port3101.org that someone resent service books to handheld and Rebooted device. They reported contacts synching back after that.

I will not accept this as a fix and will wait yet again for a RIM patch....

For what it's worth: I've got a fresh install of 5.0 sp1 running. I've migrated users over to the environment from bes 4.1.6 using the transporter. No contacts have been lost in the process.

Good to hear as I am in the same process. I myself just migrated a user over and his contacts are still there.

are you using a shared DB between the two BES?

Was in the process of downloading SP1 - stopped now!

Re: rebootin's question, normally re-doing activation without wiping the device does not have any issues...I would therefore presume that in the above scenario also, would not have an issue.

RIM, has stated that they have fixed the address book issue that occurs in SP1

They recommend anyone that has previously downloaded the old version (Bundle 72) downloads Bundle 70 instead. They also recommend not installing Bundle 72 and deleting it.

I guess this bug must have caused them some headaches
