| Disable GPS? Please Login to Remove! Hi all,
On my BES 5.0 activated smartphone (Bold 9000) is receive the "this device has been disabled for remote locaton tracking" message.
Now, I am using the default IT policy for my users with GPS left to default i.e. not disabled. I am going to assume that the message above is referring to the "location based services" part of the policy and what it is telling me is that the BES is not configured to detect where the users handheld is. Is that the case?
If so, is there a particular reason that they found it necessary to inform the handheld owner of this fact? I gather it only appears the first time you access GPS but even so it seems unnecessary.
Any thoughts
