We are running BES 4.1.6 with Exchange 2007.
I would like to implement the monitoring of hung threads so our admins can know if there is a problem with BES/Exchange.
I understand that if a thread is hung and doesn't restart after 6 health checks, the BB Controller will restart that Messaging Agent...is this correct? And, if so, does that mean users who are on that MA are affected because will BES will start rescanning their mailboxes and not send/recv mail until this has been completed?
Secondly, if we did want to monitor hung threads - how many hung threads should we actually monitor?
Thirdly, if we do come across a hung thread/s - what's the best action to take to avoid an outage to users?
