I run a BES 5 MR2 server (no SP1 yet). I have the Blackberry Monitoring service up and running. Over the last few months we have had 2 instances where the server was up, services were up, but no users were getting email. After a quick bounce of the services everything was great. I was wondering if there was something in the monitoring service, that can alert me by SMS or Email, if no users are getting emails, the services have stopped responding etc. If so, what options do I need to enable?
I would like to get to the point where we know about problems before our CEO, CIO, COO, etc are calling my phone asking about issues. So basically any monitoring service elements that would help me be proactive. THe monitoring guide has not been much help.
