Default Email not going to BlackBerry

Please Login to Remove!

I have a blackberry 8820, I can't activate it with the BES, it keeps hanging on the activating user screen and retries and retries. I have tried recreating the user on the BES, GW, and AD for grins. At first, I couldnt get it to even communicate with the BES until after I recreated the account with GroupWise and had it trying to activate overnight. It seems that it can sort of communication with the server but the activation fails. Communication updates now when I try to activate it. I have activated different users on the BlackBerry so I know that its working properly. I thought that it was the users GroupWise account, but it still isnt working even after I recreated it in GW. I dont know what else to try as I do not have alot of troubleshooting experience...

Any help would be appreciated, I read some posts about restarting services after you play with the email but I dont really know much about GW either.

Thanks

Are you sure the 8820 is provisioned with the correct ENTERPRISE BlackBerry data plan?

Have you looked through this KB from RIM yet?

I have looked over it and it has not helped. I have recreated the user using the email address that I created and input all of her information again and it still wont work.. It has the BlackBerry data package because I have used my personal email address to activate on the blackberry without a problem. i can send and receive email normally with my email but this other user i cannot, the server updates everytime I try to activate it but nothing still happens.

You need the ENTERPRISE BlackBerry Data Plan... not the Personal BlackBerry Data Plan.
The personal data plan will allow personal email addresses, but not allow activation on BES.

When I meant my personal email, I meant my work email. I can connect to the BES and it works fine. The plan lets me connect to the BES server no problem. I can activate it using a different email address, it connects to BES and I can send and receive email fine with THAT email. I think its something to do with the users settings or the GW email... Just when I use the email I need to connect it doesnt work.

I hope I explained it clear enough...
