Question QQ - Definitions for Lotus Notes mail fields "PostedDate" and "DeliveredDate"

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all Domino folks,

IBM used to have a technote defining these 2 date fields on a typical "Memo" mail document. Anybody has this link? Or better the definitions =) Thanks in advance!

Hi,
What is the difference between the Delivered and Posted dates?

The DeliveredDate is the time/date the message was physically placed in the mail file. The PostedDate is the time/date the message left the sender's mail file.

Doc Number: 1094593
IBM - Why is the date shown in Inbox folder different from that shown when the document is opened?

Many thanks, MikeB - loving you. Exactly what I was looking for.

For all, briefly the definitions are:-
(1) The DeliveredDate is the time/date the message was physically placed in the mail file.
(2) The PostedDate is the time/date the message left the sender's mail file.
