Default BES on two exhcange servers? - 03-03-2010, 07:21 AM

Hi All,

just wanted to know if one Bes server (4.16 ) on a dedicated box can be used to receive & forward emails from two exchange servers 2007 & 2003 on the same domain within the same org.
exch 2007 clch.example.com
exch 2003 ptt.example.com

the exch 2003 is our production server, it had 150 users, some of these users will have to be transfared to the new ech 2007 server.
will the users have to be deleted/re-added & re-activated on the bes again?

if this can be done, are there any docs available?

your help in this matter is much appreciated

Yes, this can be done.
The BES service account just needs the correct permissions to both Exchange servers.
