Default Evaluation licences when migrating from BES 4 to BES 5

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

My organisation has a single BES 4.1 server with about 50 users on it and I am performing an upgrade to BES 5.0 SP1 on a seperate machine.
Everything technically in most respects seems to be going fine and my query only relates to licences.

I have installed BES 5.0 SP1 under an evaluation licence key for 20 users, tested it with and I am happy with the results.
I have upgraded the current active version of BES to 4.1.7.17 ready to use the Blackberry Enterprise Transporter.
I plan on using the Blackberry Enterprise Transporter by migrating the users over to the new BES server one by one, it cannot be done all at once because of the remoteness of the users and how critcial it is they are all working.

I wondering how this can be achievable with the licences I have?
I understand that once the migration is complete I can take the SRP and licences from the BES 4 installation and use them on the BES 5 installation.
But until then both servers need to be on and functioning with unique SRPs, once I hit 20 users migrated I am stuffed.

I have tried requesting more evaluation licences from RIM but cannot get an email response.
I have even been trying to register for my 'single support incident' they offer when requesting the download of the evaluation if BES 5, but have not been able to register.
Trailing through the forums I cannot find the answer either.

Am I missing something really glaringly obvious here? any help appreciated.

You will need to request a migration kit ( KB10945). Also search for
KB04927 on the BlackBerry website, Support and Services tab.

thanks for the reply.

I have just found out that I am not get a copy of the kit without a support agreement.

Though I was advised to download more trials which gives me another 20 licences and add them to my existing installation, so I will give that method a try.
