Default BESX Express 5.0.1 on Server 2008 R2 Data Center works

I was just wondering if anyone else was able to install BESX Express 5.0.1 on Server 2008 R2? I tried to install it on my base Server 2008 R2 Data Center install (also has Exchange 2010 hub transport and client access), but it would not give me the option to install the server. I tried to install it on a Hyper-V 2008 R2 Data Center VM (DC/GC with Edge Transport Server) and it would not give me the option. I tried to install it on a 2008 R2 Enterprise DC/GC and it would not give me the option to install the server components.

So I installed another Hyper-V 2008 R2 Data Center VM, installed CDO for Exchange 2010, JDK 1.6 u18, SQL 2008 Native Client, .NET 3.5.1 and a few other features, and finally it let me install BESX Express 5.0.1 on Server 2008 R2 with a remote SQL 2008 SP1 Enterprise database (installed on the base Server 2008 R2 Data Center).

After installing the server components, I installed high availability AS and everything works great!
