Default BES and IMAP connections

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, this is my first post in this forum.

We are using BES 4.1.7 (Bundle 34) for MDS Applications.

While inspecting our network we have noticed, that the configured IMAP account for activation is polled every 10 seconds. Is there any way to change this interval? All our devices are activated and it is not needed to check the account every 10 seconds.

Another problem: If for some reason the connection to the IMAP server failed, it tries several times to re-establish the connection again. When the connection is possible again, the process BBAppBesAgent.exe will now create several, multiple connections to the IMAP server until restarting service "Blackberry Controller". After restarting, it creates one new connection, but all older connections will be cleared. Any ideas how to prevent that behaviour?

Thanks for any assistance.

James
