| BES Express and Outlook on Server? Please Login to Remove! The BES INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION GUIDE:
docs.blackberry.com/en/admin/deliverables/14335/BlackBerry_Enterprise_Server_Express_for_Microsoft _Exchange-Installation_and_Configuration_Guide--984521-0120054149-001-5.0.1-US.pdf
states that the SERVER must have "...Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI client and CDO 1.2.1..."
I am trying to perform a single server install of BES on Exchange 2010 and about the last thing I want to install on the server is a user app like Outlook. Is this really required or can I just copy and register some .DLL's?
Also, which version of Outlook is required?
I tried to install CDO from microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2714320d-c997-4de1-986f-24f081725d36&DisplayLang=en]Download details: Collaboration Data Objects, version 1.2.1 but it told me it can not complete without Outlook being installed first. Is there is a different version of CDO for Exchange 2010... this version looks quite old.
Your input is appreciated.
