Default BES 5x disable PGP..let BB handle it?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I have a user that has Atomichelix PGP for BlackBerry installed. Prior to his blackberry being on our BES he was able to recieve PGP encrypted email and have this software decrypt the message. However now that he is on the BES server whenever a PGP encrypted message comes through he gets a message stating that "PGP message cannot be displayed because PGP support is not turned on"

We do not use PGP in the organization enough to warrant the install of a PGP Universal and associated licensing needs, however the user is a Director so I need to get the message to him and let the Blackberry do the decrypting with Atomichelix.

Is there a setting in the BES v5 to do this? I can't find the option for it!

Thanks.

Default

Check "Connection Type" under "General Settings", it should have been BES. I think Yo have got BIS there...
However, when I set the BES connection type, BES 5.0 does NOT send the message to Blackberry device, because it is not aware that there is a pgp app. does BES 5.0 work only iwith PGP support package??
