Default Delete Associated Device but keep user in BAS

Is it possible to delete the associated device, but keep the user on the BES 5.x server for role based admin purposes?

We assigned the user a loaner Blackberry, but the primary smartphone he uses works with ActiveSync. I'm guessing that once we re-assign the blackberry to another person, the associated device for this user will disappear.

Sure, just send an 'Erase and Disable Handheld' to the device from BES.
You'd want to do this if you wanted to assign the device to someone else anyway.

Thanks for your response. Erase and Disable was performed, yet the PIN is still associated with the user. Not a big deal, but I will test to see what happens once we reactivate the device with a new user.
