Default Best Way to restore a BB after Enterprise Activation

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, what is the best way to restore a Blackberry that is on the BES?

Typically when we have to restore a blackberry, we backup the blackberry via the Desktop manager, wipe, enterprise activation and then restore. Is the correct way?

Thanks

You're creating too much work for yourself.
No need to backup and restore using desktop manager.
BES does the backup "automagically" via Wireless Backup, and will do the restore when the new Enterprise Activation takes place.

If you insist on backing up and restoring with DM (which I do even though I'm on a BES, and is what happens during any device OS upgrade) Then you need to backup, wipe, restore, then EA. Once you do the EA then most of the databases are greyed out in DM and can't be restored because they are being wirelessly backed up.
