Default BES Migration Contacts dissappear

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Im javing issues with certai user, when migrating to my new BES i havea few users complan about some or all contact s dissappearig - hs this happenned to anyone - Im guessing that it could be Fimrware related?

I know that the Blackberry Enterpirse Transporter SP2 fixed alot of issues, where can i get this tool?

This would depends on how your mail environments are setup.

The contacts should be stored in your mailbox. When you move to a new BES the contact should sync OTA. If you are not doing OTA sync of contacts that's another issue.

My scenario

When i activate users wirelessly on OLDBES the contacts sync perfectly
When i activate users wirelessly on NEWBES the contacts sync perfectly

When i move a user using transportert from OLDBES to NEWBES Contacts dissappear....

OLDBES v5.0.1 MR2
NEWBES V5.0.1 MR3

Resolved!!!

User were creating 2 contact folders on outlook - after the migration the 2nd contacts folder was not selected on BAS!!!

Hey guys, this was the case for a few users....Not all...

This seem to be related to the Exchange Primary SMTP address and AD specified email address
