Trying to move BES 5.0.2 from a Win2k3 box to a new Win2k8R2 box. All the BES stuff is on the Win2k3 box except the database, which is on a separate SQL server. I tried doing the following:

1. Write down or backup the following information:
- The BlackBerry Enterprise Server Name
- BESAdmin Mailbox
- SRP Identifier with the corresponding SRP Authentication Key
2. Install the BlackBerry Enterprise Server on the new machine and enter the information from the above step in the appropriate fields. The only information that will be different is the NetBIOS name of the server.

When installing the new BlackBerry Enterprise Server, all the information must be identical to the original install. The only thing that will be different is the NetBIOS name of the server.
Once that has been completed, the administrator must stop the BlackBerry Server Service on the original BlackBerry Enterprise Server before starting the new BlackBerry Server Service or there will be SRP connection problems.

HOWEVER, during the install of BES on the new server, where I have to enter in the blackberry server name, it tells me I cannot use the same name. I attached the screenshot of the full message. What are my options for moving this app?

Okay... that's a totally tech post... What's BES? how do I get it? (do I even want it?)
