Default BES Express Email Domain Change

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

My customer has merged his Company (Company A) with another company (Company B). Company B have a SBS 2003 running Exchange with BES Express 5. BES processes email for [email address].

Company A is joining his non domain PC's to company B and a new Company C with [email address] is being launched. It's easy enough to configure exchange to receive email for domain A, domain B and Domain C and for it to send all new emails as Domain C. How do I reconfigure BES to connect to the Exchange server to collect Domain C email and to send emails as Domain C?

Thanks

Neil

BES will stay connected to watever Exchange server it is currently connected to, unless you change the MAPI profile.

BES does not send emails. It transfers them to the Exchange server for processing. Emails will leave using whatever primary email address is configured for the user on the Exchange server.

Hi,

So by the sounds of it no action is required. Thanks for your help.
