Meeting requests between BES environments
 

Hi all, this "could" be an easy answer or make things complicated for me ;-)

I am Sys Admin for an Email migration project from Lotus Notes to Exchange 2007.

There are also 2 seperate BES environments in this mix, running on each seperate mail system (Lotus and Exchange).

User A on Exchange and BES 5.1, sends a meeting request to User B on Lotus Notes and an older BES system.

User B receives the meeting notification and upon opening there is a RED CROSS and he cannot accept it.

My question is, should this meeting request be "acceptable" across these systems.

Is this meeting request working on the Lotus Notes Client on a PC? (Can you accept it on the client?)

It might be that an Exchange meeting request is not compatible with a Notes meeting request. I don't know Notes, so maybe someone who know both systems can give you a definite answer.
