Hello I am moving our users from BES for Groupwise to a new BES Interprise express for exchange server.

Everything I have read says the old IT policy needs to be wiped before I can connect the phones to the new server. I have read multiple posts on how to remotely wipe the policy but I can not find the correct policy setting on my BES administrator tool.

It seems to not have it the wipe policy template. Or I can not find it.

Its BES Security manager ver 4.1.3.8

Is there any way for me to do a remote wipe?

Apply IT policy rule under
Security policy group, Remote wipe reset to factory default and set to TRUE

after that is applied to users and you Erase data and disable Hand Held in BES 4.x, IT policy will be gone.

Hope its there in GW.

The only things I see about wipe in security policy group is

Secure Wipe if low battery
Secure Wipe delay after IT policy
Secure Wipe delay after lock

Maybe you need to upgrade to a newer Service Pack.

Yep. I read that it requires SP4 to do wipes. We are on sp3. Thanks I will give that a try.
