Mail Forwarding problem driving me crazy
Im having mail forwarding problems with a specific user. There are 6 bb users in my org, everyone but this one can send receive and forward mails. This user can send receive forward just text email, but cant forward attachments. This started happening 2 days ago.
- Exchange 2010
- Bes 18.104.22.168
- Blackberry model 9700
Things i've done since:
- Battery pull
- Delete device data, user data and reassign
- Created throttling policy
- Created send as permissions to admins with dsacls (even if BESadmin user wasnt part of admin group)
- Changed device
- Resend service books
- Resend IT policy
None of this worked, I'm kind of desperate now. I havent tried submerging the device in water though, might function.
Any help would be gladly appreciated.
The user having the problem is a Domain Admin?
The user isn't a domain admin We've just deleted his exchange account and active directory as well.
Ok, now we cant associate the device with the user. Web console gives error
"The BlackBerry Administration Service was unable to retrieve specific device attributes from the device that is connected to your computer."
I've run IEMtest.exe and it said
"Failed to resolve the SMTP address"

You've switched devices and still can't forward attachments? That obviously implies you've completely deleted this user out of BES and re-added him, correct? This user is in the same group and has the same IT policy as all of your other users?
We have only the default IT policy for everybody and only one group. We deleted the contact and re added it in BES.
The problem is solved now but we had to delete the account from our domain controller also. So we don't know really why was that this happened.
