Default 9100 connected but not receiving email

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I've just started a new position at a company, & trying to find my way around!

I set up a 9700 & a 9100 on BES (v4.1.4!). No problem with the 9700.

The 9100 received a few emails & then stopped receiving.
I can successfully push out the IT policy, so it's connected at some level.
Any suggestions on a possible cause, or some steps to diagnose?
I'm a relative newbie to BES. thx

A little more background. It's the company owners phone!, he has had it about 4 weeks. The first 2 weeks it received email , no problems, then it stopped.

Any idea what changes were made to the device right before it stopped?

No, not at the moment. I'm going to ask the user that when I see him shortly.

On the server side, the previous IT Manager is no longer there.

Any isssues if I delete & recreate the user in BES & then reactivate?

There will be no issues with deleting and re-adding. It will most likely fix the problem you're having. Go to delete user> Yes - Delete the user and remove the BlackBerry information from the user's mail system

I did delete the profile in BES, but elected to No to the Remove the Blackberry Information option.
When I tried to add the user I got the message "user in delete pendind state...."
So I deleted the user with osql - delete from mailbox where mailboxsmtpaddress...

I then readded & activated.
The inbox populated & I sent, received & replied to 2 test messages. Great, I thought.

After that it stopped receiving :(
The last contact time is the time of my test messages.

Any thoughts.
