Default BES Express Exchange Issues

Please Login to Remove!

I have installed BES Express on my Exchange 2003 Server and I am getting problems with Exchange performance. I have the latest BES Express installed and Exchange SP2 with all the current Microsoft Patches. Users are getting a RPC message 'Outlook is tryting to retrieve date from the Microsoft Exchange Server.

The server is Intel Xeon 2.0Ghz with 4GB of RAM. We have about 90 mailboxes and around 19 BlackBerry users.

I have tried all the perfomance counters check and everything seems to be within the recommended boundaries. I must admit the MSExchangeIS\RPC Averaged Latency does hit over 50 but only on the odd occasion.

Any help will be appreciated.

What drives are you using?
IOPS rating?
Raid type that the store is on?
What else is on that drive?
