I'm running BES 5.0.1.58 for a large remote user base. I've recently been asked to switch off emails for a given device and I've done this in "Default configuration" within "Messaging configuration" by changing "Redirect to BlackBerry device:" to "No"

What I am wondering is if there is any way of knowing when these settings have hit the device. I embarrassed myself earlier by emailing the user immediately after changing the settings saying "If all's gone well you shouldn't receive this message" to which I got the reply "All hasn't gone well then". It was working five minutes later but in the future I'd like to be able to tell when it has applied rather then just having to guess, does anyone know how I would do this?

With 5.0, you can use the Monitoring to check the status of devices.
