Having issue with calendar syncing on BES server and yesterday I’ve received an alert saying the SRP Dispatcher has encountered a general failure (<N/A> | BlackBerry Dispatcher APCNHKBESX1 (Application Event Log on APCNHKBESX1) | 08/08/2010 02:02:16 (6FFFC3B1) -> [SRP] Dispatcher\SRP Connection dropped, Error=0, Reason=1 General failure).

Emails are still coming through to our devices so I’m not sure what this alert means exactly. Can someone please advice?

As we are using a Blackberry Enterprise Server Express, we do not have any support agreement with RIM. We would really appreciate if you can hopefully come up with a resolution.

If email is flowing then not likely related to your cal sync issues. The SRP drop happens from time to time. You likely have a "Dispatcher\SRP Connection established" event that came along not long after.
