Default BES Express 5 - Cant Deploy IT Policies to Devices

Ive recently upgraded from BES SB to BES Express for a number of reasons. Everthing is working email wise but i am unable to deploy IT Policies to the Devices. When the devices were activating it just came up error policy rejected. I've also created a new policy called TEST IT and applied it to my BB. It lists it as being taken in the Manage Users section however nothing in the policy has been applied on my device.

I'm not sure if this ever worked on BES SB but its something i need now.

Have also noticed that notes and tasks arent syncing now even though it is definatly set to do so in 'servers and components\synchronization' but thats probably another issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you push the default policy? Or a slightly tweaked version of it (ie require a password)?
