Default BESX 5.0.2 w/ SBS - MDS errors after upgrade

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all.

Running BESX on SBS 2003. Was running 5.0.1 and it was running perfectly. No errors in the error log (to speak of).

Upgraded to 5.0.2 and now have MDS errors in my log constantly. I don't know how to turn this MDS off.

Constant error is Event ID 15000, source Blackberry MDS Connection Service SCM, Failed to update device OS to HTTP header compression version mapping For input string: ""

or

SCM, The query has timed out

Any ideas? Kind of kicking myself for upgrading as I really didn't need any of the new features, and it was working so flawlessly before the upgrade. No issues during the upgrade that I recall.

Thanks,
Adam

Do you have the MDS-IS installed? We were having ALL sorts of issues, when we called RIM, they actually advised us to uninstall the MDS-IS service from all our servers.

Uninstall or just disable? I disabled the MDS Connection (I think) service and the errors stopped, however now I am unable to browse to any websites that aren't currently bookmarked on my handheld.

I know just enough about server administration to keep the system running lol.
