manually run the groupwise address book sync - it's under the server config / service control and configuration tab - this will ensure any new addresses added are visible to the BES

Hello fellow users,

I have the exact same problem running:
BES 4.0.2 SP2
GW 6.5.5

I don't see any of the new users added to GW within the last month or so. I do see all the existing users and can add them with no problem. I tried to type in the exact name to Find but still no luck. Is there a way to add users WITHOUT going through the GW Address book?

By the way, when I followed the advise of, "manually run the groupwise address book sync - under the server config / service control and configuration tab" I get this message:
"A synchronization process is already in progress."

I have waited since Friday and the message still pops up when I tried to manually sync. I have bounced the BES server since then and still no luck.

Please help! Thanks in advance.

Problem solved.

I poked around in Program Files\Research In Motion\Blackberry Enterprise Server folder and found the "GWSystemAddressBookSync.exe" file. Ran it and all the users show up now.

Hope that helps the next person.
