Default Installing Replacement Exchange 2003 Server - BES Connection ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all.

I am in the process of retiring my Exchange 6.5 SP2 install. I have installed a new Exchange which is running side-by-side and my BES server is another stand alone server.

Tomorrow the primary (old) server will be empty of mailboxes so I can decommission it, but can I ask is there any configuration with BES I need to do to allow it to communicate with the New server instead of the old?

I will be migrating my BESAdmin mailbox to the new Exchange, but unsure if there is anything else that needs re-pointing / configuring?

I don't believe so, but shutting down the old server and leaving it powered off for a day will verify that. In other words, don't uninstall Exchange, just leave it off.
