Question Input BB PIN on BES

I know this can be done but I just cannot remember how or where to do it at.

I am unable to connect the BB device to our server but isn't there a way to manually enter a users PIN before the Enterprise Activation takes place for a brand new user so they can connect?

We're having probs with connecting this device to the BES using OTA so I looked through the logs and found something that referred to his PIN missing. I thought I would try to add it manually.

Can it be done?

No, you can't add the PIN manually.
The Enterprise Activation process (either wireless or wired) will populate the database with the correct PIN.

Does your BES have enterprise service policy running ?

With enterprise service policy you can control which PIN, Model or manufacturer is allowed to be activated on your bes.
BES 5.0.1 MR2
Exchange 2003 SP2
